France Télévisions receives the Responsible Digital label

After several months of collective effort and commitment, France Télévisions has been awarded the Responsible Digital Level 1 certification by Agence LUCIE, a pioneer in CSR in France.

    This certification is not just a logo: it is the result of a demanding and structured process:

    • Team awareness
    • In-depth self-assessment
    • External audit
    • Making concrete commitments
    • Developing an ambitious action plan

    Among the actions already taken that have enabled us to obtain this certification:

    • Digital sobriety and accessibility audits on websites and mobile applications have been implemented within the digital department.
    • No automatic renewal of equipment, particularly cell phones.

     

    Why is this important?

    The Responsible Digital label aims to reduce the environmental and social impact of digital technologies. It is based on a set of standards developed jointly by the Institut du Numérique Responsable, France IT, and Agence LUCIE.

     

    What now?

    The adventure continues! We plan to implement new solutions to further advance our approach. The LUCIE Agency has validated our commitments as meaningful and realistic,

    France Télévisions has joined the LUCIE Community, which now has more than 1,400 members committed to CSR and Responsible Digital. Together, we are moving towards an organizational model that respects planetary boundaries and the needs of society.

     

    A collective success!

    Early 2024: the initiative is launched by three departments: CSR, Digital, and Technology. For over a year, each department documents the 14 principles of action in the LNR framework as precisely as possible.

    • May 14, 2025: the results are presented to the Lucie agency during an evaluation meeting.
    • June 19: Following the audit, Lucie proposes areas for improvement and asks France Télévisions to commit to making progress.
    • July 19: France Télévisions proposes its commitments.
    • August 26: After negotiations and agreement on the commitments, Lucie awards France Télévisions the NR 1 label.

    • the life cycle of digital services
    • the development of its NR approach
