A Strategic Lever to Transform the Media Industry
3 out of 5 French people use a tech startup solution every month. In this context, innovation becomes both a driver of internal transformation for France Télévisions and a lever for impact across the media ecosystem.
With Projector, the group strengthens its Open Innovation approach. This new program enables selected startups to collaborate for six months with internal teams on real-world use cases. It's a concrete, shared and ambitious approach to bring tomorrow’s solutions to life.
This program is not just another incubator: it's a catalyst for synergy between our experts and tech talent

An Active and Committed Ecosystem
The program was co-designed with dedicated partners such as 50 Partners, La French Tech, BPI France Le Hub, and Future Media Hubs at the European level. It builds on the group’s Open Innovation track record, which already enabled tangible results such as:
- integrating interactivity into the Okoo app
- developing tools for eco-friendly digital design
- launching immersive media formats for the general public
A Program Rooted in Real Needs
With 58 use cases identified and 14 prioritized alongside internal teams, Projector is the result of extensive listening and co-design work conducted across all departments of France Télévisions. The program targets startups that can address real operational needs—whether in terms of accessibility, environmental impact, storytelling innovation, or process efficiency.
Our ambition is to combine the agility of startups with the expertise of France Télévisions teams to co-create the future of media and public broadcasting
