THE LAST MYSTERY OF HITLER’S DEATH

THE LAST MYSTERY OF HITLER’S DEATH

How did Hitler die? What did Stalin know of the circumstances of his suicide? If he had proof of Hitler’s death, why did Stalin hide it from the Allies? Why does Putin’s Russia now agree to what it used to reject: offering answers and opening its archives? And more importantly still, why is it so crucial to know today the truth about the death of Adolf Hitler?

To address all these questions, we shall lead a great historical investigation, supported by scientific assessments regarding the final remains of the dictator, to which we are granted access. Tests will be performed by one of the leading French experts in forensic research, Dr. Philippe Charlier.

We shall also rely on archival documents belonging to the Russian secret service. They will be used for the very first time in this documentary.

CITIZEN TRUMP

Who's afraid of Donald Trump?

Citizen Trump - Who's afraid of Donald Trump?

An alpha male in the menagerie comprising of the leaders of the great powers, known for his erratic politics, unforeseeable behaviour and verbal provocations, Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the USA throws the world into a panic.

A populist billionnaire, an individualist protected by an entouragemade up mostly of his family, an ad man who is compulsive when it comes to his own destiny, Donald Trump loves being hated by his own peeves: the political establishment, the American left wing and the intellectuals.

But will the peculiar powerful aura of his personality -which fascinates the media overcome by the way he operates and the marginal group who made his election happen- be enough to offset his lack of political experience and superlative self-centeredness?

Can the USA be managed as a capitalist business?

Can international ratios of power be solved by a knack for “dealing”?

Can slogans such as “America first” and “Make America great again” triumph over the realities of a world becoming ever more complex and dangerous?

In short, is Donald Trump capable of materialising his ambitions or is he leading the world straight to the wall?

Is he the reckless conman behind our unconscious urges for destruction and death or the energetic herald of more efficiency and justice born of collective revenge?

66 million years ago, dinosaurs disappeared and were replaced by new animals which, in time, would also grow into giants. Among them were 13- meter-long snakes and crocodiles, 18-ton rhinos, 16-ton mammoths, and 18-meter-long sharks. All of them were related to modern animals. They gradually colonized the lands and the oceans, but eventually disappeared in often mysterious circumstances.

HOMO SPATIUS

If, within thirty years or so, humans manage to reach the planets and moons of our solar system safe and sound, remaining in good physical and mental shape, it will be thanks to the many experiments carried out for decades by their predecessors-thanks to the doctors, scientists and engineers who passionately worked at making human survival in space possible.

Can the human system possibly sustain such journeying and, if so, how? In order to answer that question, Homo Spatius brings together the first-hand accounts of a dozen European, American, Russian and Chinese spacemen and spacewomen who tell of their experiences and feelings on their trips. Those valuable personal accounts, rife with anecdotes and illustrated by images of the astronauts preparations and journeys, are woven with discovery visits of the laboratories and medical centers at European, American, Canadian and Russian space agencies in order to understand the physical and psychological problems caused by lengthy stays in space and the solutions studied to overcome them.

REAL WAR OF THRONES

THE REAL WAR OF THRONES

In the turbulent formative centuries of early Europe, power-hungry family dynasties vied for domination of the continent. They clashed with blood and iron on the battlefields - but the real wars were complex, personal power struggles played out in private. Behind stony castle walls was a world of strategic alliance, adultery, plot, treason and murder. The ruthless intrigue tore apart many legendary families, and shaped the way they ran their empires. In this game of power and conquest, nothing was out of bounds - because those who were not crowned with glory soon perished in the shadows.

These epic struggles have blazed through the ages and would rock Europe for generations to come, and still resonate today in countless hit films and series : “The Accursed Kings”, “The Tudors”, and, of course, the TV sensation “Game of Thrones”.

Beyond the stories’ eternal dramatic appeal, their impact on history is undeniable. The real power games played out between these few wealthy families have laid down the political and social foundations of modern Europe and the Western world. The Real War of Thrones tells the epic story of the rival dynasties that wrote the grand history of modern Europe.

Through lavishly realised drama reconstuction, the series brings to life the experiences of the characters directly involved; their motivations, their strategy, what they stand to win and what they risk losing. Discover how thrist of power and human passions were the turning cogs in the formation of European nations.

THE SECRET LIFE OF THE GARDEN

Les jardins de la villette, Françoise Fontaine

Every garden is home to thousands of creatures, with hundred softiny dramas playing out as part of a wider story - that of an ecosystem guided by the imagination of a creator, the gardener.
His or her work is a living tableau,in constant evolution, and the artist must adapt to the vagaries of the weather and respect natural rhythms.

The human hand steers, rather than shapes this creation to achieve a subtle, shifting balance between fantasy and reality, between an idea land what nature allows. In the kitchen garden or orchard,in flowerbeds, at the bottom of a pond, or high in the tree tops, an incredible diversity thrives.

Day and night, winter and summer, insects, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians seek refuge in the garden, feeding, hunting, and reproducing. Out of sight, they co-exist, sometimes clashing, sometimes helping one another.

This film provides a unique insight in to the stunning wild biodiversity that many gardeners are unaware of, yet which exists just outside their door.
